I wrote a grant for our classroom this summer based on an idea I had for us. I want us to read books about survival together and to do some projects, such as creating a survival kit, taking a CPR class, learning how to navigate the turbulent waters of 7th grade. I just found out today that a foundation in North Carolina has funded my request for you all! This foundation does a lot of important work in Wichita, as you can see by clicking on their logo to visit their blog.You are special! People all over the country care about you, my students, and so do I.
