This is a great book it is about halley.she has a friend named lynn.she is a girl that is her best friend.then one day they go to dairy queen and they see a guy.lynn likes that guy.then lynn keeps posponing her planns with the girl and she goes with the guy.their is her stepdad named carl he tries to rape her but she gets saved cause her mom got home.hally is realy scared cause of what he tried to do to her.then one day helleys mom goes to her room and was going to claim her for something.halley thougth she was going to tel her about what happend with her and her stepdad. then she says evrything but her mom was not even talking about that. then at the end her mom said what are you talking about.
